The motivation for this site…

The idea for this site is that it is a ‘personal notebook’ of useful links and contact numbers, it also contains links to Citizens Advice (Chelmsford) Gateway Assessor Scripts and other useful resources.

If you explore the tabs above you’ll find:

The ‘Welcome Script’ tab has the script used when a client contacts us by phone.
The ‘Resources’ tab has links and contact numbers to useful local and national resources that assessors tend to keep in their own personal notebooks.
The ‘Gateway Scripts’ are the scripts used for a full Gateway interview with clients. A ‘Copy Script to Clipboard‘ button has been added to each of the scripts so that these can be pasted into Casebook, speeding up client write-ups.
The ‘Referrals‘ tab provides all the relevant information about each LCA that we serve clients on behalf of.
The ‘Find LCA‘ tab opens a Postcode to Local Authority checker to help us deal with calls from Herts.
The ‘Contact’ tab provides an email form to give me your general comments, details of broken links or for suggestions or changes to this site.
The ‘Benefits’ tab has brief descriptions of the various welfare benefits clients can claim with links, mostly to the Gov.UK website, for more detailed information.
The ‘Advisor‘ tab has useful resources for Advisers.
The ‘Admin’ tab is for site maintenance.
